DIMAPUR — Nagaland’s
Deputy Chief Minister, TR Zeliang, mourned the demise of Rev. Khrütsoyi Lürüo,
who passed away on January 24 at the Christian Institute of Health Sciences and
Research, Chümoukedima.
In a condolence note, he stated that a God-fearing and true
follower of Christ, Rev. Lürüo, exuded grace and refinement to those around
him.
He noted that during his stint as the State Chaplain from
2009 to 2016, he had the pleasure of being closely associated with him and
listened to and learnt much from many of his sermons.
He said that in his demise, the state in general and the
Chakhesang community in particular have lost a great man of God, adding that
during this time of grief and sorrow, he, along with his family, extends
heartfelt condolences to the family and all his loved ones.
He prayed that God would grant the bereaved family strength
and courage during this time and that the departed soul may rest in peace.
