DEO Wokha organises painting competition

Dimapur, Oct. 11 (EMN): To mark the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, District Education Officer, Wokha, organised a painting competition on October 2 at its office premises on the theme “Gandhian values” of cleanliness, patriotism, truth and non-violence. A DIPR report stated that altogether fourteen participants from eight schools, both private and government institutions, have participated in the competition. Nzanrhoni E Yanthan, a Class VIII student of DBHSS, Wokha; Longshibemo of GMS Sector ‘C,’ Wokha; and Myanthung C Murry of Fernbrook School were adjudged the first, second and third winners respectively. DEO, Nzanbeni, ADEO Y Zubeno, and SDEO S Mhonchan Lotha were the panel of judges of the competition.
