DIMAPUR — District Education Officer (DEO) of Kiphire, M Narola Longkumer, visited PM SHRI Government High School (GHS) Yangphi, Kiphire, on June 22. She was accompanied by Tiyaba Sangtam, Office Assistant at the Kiphire District Education Office.
According to a DIPR report, during the visit, a coordination meeting was held with the teaching staff of the school. The DEO interacted with the teachers and discussed ways to improve the quality of education and the academic performance of students.
Addressing the staff, Longkumer encouraged all teachers to be more sincere, dedicated, and committed to their responsibilities. She stressed that academic success is never a solitary journey but a collaborative effort built on mutual trust, co-operation, and teamwork among teachers, students, parents, and the community.
Narola also advised the teachers to conduct extra remedial classes or to organise study hours for better academic excellence to help slow learners and improve the academic performance of students. She highlighted the importance of regular monitoring, proper guidance, and continuous support to achieve better academic standards.
The staff members assured the DEO of their full co-operation and commitment towards improving the overall academic standards of the school.
