Dimapur, June 17 (EMN): Denube Kangjam from Imphal was crowned as the winner of the ‘Livon Serum Face of Northeast 2018.’ The 1st runner-up was awarded to Jigyasha Kashyap from Guwahati and the 2nd runner-up was bagged by Anushka Lekharu from Guwahati. A press release from the organisers informed on Sun. June 17.
The event was conducted at Pragjyoti ITA centre auditorium at Machkhowa in Guwahati on Saturday June 16.
The panel of judges included Mrs. United Nations 2017 Roshni Hassan, Sound Designer Abhishruti Bezbaruah, Filmmaker Samujjal Kashyap, Fashion Designer Shyamant Hazarika, and Chief Executive Officer of the Indian Weavers Alliance Inc. Saumar Sharma.
According to the press release, the contest was enlivened by an impressive and diverse line-up of talents from across the region.
The main idea behind Livon Serum Face of Northeast is to groom talented young women from across the Northeast and encourage them to become empowering role models of beauty, health and leadership, the press release added.
