Dimapur, May 29 (EMN): The Delhi Public School, Dimapur hosted the fourth inter-school music fest (open genre choral competition) on May 26 in Dimapur. The chairman of the Dimapur Public School Society, S I Jamir attended the occasion as the chief guest.
A press release from the school informed that the event was organised in order to provide opportunities and to explore talents and abilities besides providing a platform for interaction amongst students and music teachers.
Maple Tree School, Hollotoli School, Hope Academy, Woodstock School, and Delhi Public School were said to have participated in the competition. The judges were Avoni Odyuo, Alobo Naga, and Aroko Nagi.
DPSD Choir lifted the running trophy with their seamless performance of the song ‘Lightening’ by Greg Gilpin. The rendition of the audience’s favourite ‘A Million Dreams’ from The Greatest Showman by Hope Academy bagged the runner-up.
