Dimapur, May 31 (EMN): The Delhi Public School of Dimapur has organised an honorary ceremony for the All India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE) class XII achievers on May 31. The award was said to have been an annual ceremony to acknowledge and encourage students to aspire for greater academic accomplishments. Updates on Thursday informed.
Altogether 39 students from the art, science and commerce streams securing 80 percent and above were said to have been honored. Nine of its students who scored 90% - 94.8% were awarded with a cheque of INR 15, 000 each. Three of its students scoring 95% - 97.8% were awarded a cheque of INR 25, 000 each. The awardees were also given with certificates. A student Sakshi Jain was awarded with an additional of INR 5000 for scoring 97.8% in commerce stream.
The school has set new records in the recently declared AISSCE result topping the charts in the Northeast India. The institution witnessed 100 pass percentages.
