Dimapur, Sep. 19 (EMN): Dimapur District Legal Services Authority (DDLSA), is set organise a door to door campaign on September 23. The programme is being initiated by the Nagaland State Legal Services Authority (NSLSA) on the theme “Reach out, someone over there needs you.”
Hukato Swu, Principal District and Sessions Judge, Dimapur, and Chairman DDLSA; Ajongba Imchen, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dimapur, and Secretary DDLSA; along with 20 panels lawyers and 10 Para Legal Volunteers (PLVs) will cover 10,000 households in the targeted village and colonies to create legal awareness.
In this regard, Dimapur District Legal Services Authority has requested to all the village councils, students’ bodies, women’s organisations and churches of the selected villages, colonies for cooporation and participation in the said campaign. The concerned village council chairmen and GBs are asked to inform the public to be at station on the day of campaign.
The selected villages/colonies included Phevima village, Aoyimkum village, Ragailong, Namgailong, Showuba Old, Diphuphar, Zutovi, Pimla, Rilan village, Senjum village, Shukhuvi village (Chang), Tsithrongse village (Sangtam), Garo Bosti, Padumpukhuri village, Chumukedima, Tenyiphe, Medziphema village, Kukidolong, Sethikiema, and Sethekima Basa.
