Dimapur, August 23 (EMN): The Dimapur District Citizens’ Forum (DDCF) has extended its support to the rally being organised by ACAUT Nagaland on August 25.
“It is our humble appeal to all the citizens of Dimapur in particular and Nagaland in general to ponder on the present situation of the state and imagine in what situation we would be if we live in a land free of corruption,” the press release from the Media Cell DDCF stated. DDCF further called upon all to support and attend the rally for a good cause.
Meanwhile, Dimapur Urban Council Chairman Federation (DUCCF) once again called upon all the councils, colony leaders, women, youths and public of urban area and the neighbouring villages to attend the public rally, being initiated by ACAUT on August 25 at Supermarket.
Stating that the rally will be the voice of Nagas against corruption, DUCCF stated that it is important that every Naga public participate. The federation urged all the colonies and villages to participate in full strength. Every abled men and women from 15 to 90 years should be there to be part of the historic moment, it added. DUCCF also requested the non-Naga brothers and sisters especially under the Ward 17 & 19 area to participate.
DUCCF also appreciated the Dimapur Auto Union’s service to be rendered on the said day. Public are informed to avail the free auto service to the venue. All cars and two wheelers owners are also requested to extend their service for the same.
Further, DUCCF called upon the public to sacrifice 3 hours for better future. “Those who do not participate will have no moral right to complain against bad roads, collapsed bridges, etc. So let us join hands to change Nagaland,” the press release added.
