Dimapur District Congress Committee (DCC) has appreciated the decision of NPCC to expel some leaders who allegedly had been disturbing the working and growth of the party by showing their ‘indiscipline attitude’ thereby diverting the ideology and principal of the party.
A joint press statement issued by DCC president, Kughato S Aye, and the general secretary, Hollohon Chishi, said the intolerant behavior of those dissidents ‘so called leader’ had set bad example to the disciplined party workers. It said the decision of the NPCC to expel those leaders showed that the Congress party has its system of working and discipline and would not compromise its ideology and principle. While asserting that there is also no room for any party worker who shows indiscipline to the party, DCC Dimapur urged upon the party workers to adhere to the constitution of the Indian National Congress and uphold its principle and ideology.With regard to the eight MLA merging with NPF, the DCC Dimapur appealed to all the party workers not to be disheartened but to work in unison. Stating that the divisive elements, who have been leading the Congress party for long has now left the party, it assured the party workers that the party would emerge stronger in the coming days. It, therefore, appealed to all Congress party workers to work unitedly with full commitment.
