Dimapur, April 10 (EMN): The deputy commissioner of Wokha, Manazir Jeelani Samoon, inaugurated computer lab and Don Bosco School sports meet on April 10 in Wokha.
A press release from the institution on April 10 stated that the computer lab was a ‘dreams come true’ for the students and public of Lakhuti village in Wokha.
Rev. Fr. Shaji Mathew, the school principal, in his welcome address, mentioned that the idea of providing computer education to the ‘village’ students was to help them excel like that of their counterparts in the town.
Addressing the gathering, the Deputy Commissioner called upon the students to avail the ‘beautiful’ opportunity in this ‘far flung’ village. He encouraged the students to aim high without fear of failures.
The computer lab was set up with the financial assistance from well-wishers and the Diocese of Kohima, the update added.
