Office of Deputy Commissioner, Tuensang, has announced to implement new format for issue of Indigenous Inhabitant and Scheduled Tribe Certificates with immediate effect. The new format has been introduced by the government to check even more stringently ineligible persons trying to obtain the certificates which are meant only for the indigenous inhabitants of Nagaland.
Deputy Commissioner, Tuensang, Alem Jongshi, said the introduction of the new format, the process of issuing the issuing Indigenous inhabitant and Scheduled Tribe certificates is expected to take longer than the old format as more areas of verification have been introduced. He said necessary details could be sought or clarified from his office on all working days.
All concerned persons who wishes to obtain Indigenous inhabitant and Scheduled Tribe certificates from the office of DC, Tuensang, are requested to apply well in advance. Public are further requested to cooperate with the new initiative of the government which is being done in the interest of the indigenous inhabitants of Nagaland.
