Dimapur, Oct. 17 (EMN): Deputy Commissioner, Phek, Orenthung Lotha has informed all the landowners and beneficiaries affected by the construction of 2-laning of Pfutsero to Phek Road (SARDP-NE) that damage compensation shall be paid in the office of the deputy commissioner, Phek on Oct. 25 for areas/villages under Pfutsero sub-division and on Oct. 26 2018 for areas/villages under Phek, Sadar at 10:30 am onwards.
The chairman of the concerned villages/wards (for urban areas) have asked to present physically for identification of landowners and beneficiaries during the disbursement of cheque, failing which payment shall be withheld.
“All affected landowners, beneficiaries have been requested to bring along 2 (two) recent passport size photos (scanned photos will be rejected), a photocopy of first page or passbook where the details of the applicants are cited and a photocopy of either Aadhaar or EPIC (electoral photo id card),” the DC stated while adding that ‘payment to any other representative other than the concerned person shall not be entertained’.
