DC Phek directs landowners/ agencies

Dimapur, Dec. 17 (EMN): The deputy commissioner of Phek, Sachin Jaiswal, has directed all the landowners/ other governmental and non-governmental agencies that are under section 9(2) of the Nagaland Land Requisition and Acquisition Act 1965 for construction of two laning of Kohima – Jessami Road (Bharatmala Pariyojana) to clear/ vacate the compensated buildings, plantations, fisheries and any other structures on the right of way (RoW) along with packages III, IV and V within 15 days from the date of issue of this order.

A DIPR report quoting the notification stated that the compensated properties along the RoW would be impounded by the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporations Limited (MORTH) for construction of two laning of Kohima – Jessami Road (Bharatmala Pariyojana) immediately without any further notice after the expiry of the stipulated date.
