
DIMAPUR — The deputy commissioner of Peren, Vineet Kumar, has urged the officers to be in station and help the public whenever they require services.
He stated this during the monthly meeting of the Peren district planning and development board (DPDB) held in his office conference hall in New Peren district headquarters on Friday. Kumar, who is also the vice chairman of DPDB, encouraged the officers to show exemplary work during their stay in the district, a DIPR report stated.
Meanwhile, the board has approved the LADP, iconic, common pool scheme for 6-Tening and 7-Peren assembly constituencies. Besides, the members also discussed regarding adoption of schools for 2024-25.
In this regard, the deputy commissioner appreciated those officers who had tirelessly rendered their knowledge and experiences during adoption of school. He further requested the Power and Medical departments to present their departmental activities in the next DPDB meeting.
Issues order for release of arms
In view of the successful completion of election to the 18th Lok Sabha and ULB election 2024, the deputy commissioner of Peren, Vineet Kumar, on Friday issued an order for the release of arms deposited during the 18th Lok Sabha and ULB election. The owners are asked to collect their arms from the respective police station with effect from the date of issue of the order.
