DIMAPUR — DC Mokokchung Thsuvisie Phoji has informed that JKM Infra Works LLP, a construction company from Guwahati, Assam, has been granted permission to blast stones for the road widening project at the Angetyongpang Tzu River area.
The blasting is scheduled for September 8 between 3 pm and 10 pm and is for the construction of a two-lane road between DEF Church and Yisemyong at NH 61 (the new NH-02).
[bsa_pro_ad_space id=1]A DIPR report said that to ensure the safety and security of the public and their properties, the contractor is to take all necessary precautions to safeguard the lives and properties of those using the road.
The company is also required to adhere to all relevant rules and regulations of the Explosives Rules, 2008, and JKM Infra Works LLP will be held responsible for any damage to life and property resulting from the blasting.
The permit is valid only for September 8.
