DIMAPUR — With the onset of monsoon and as per the advisory of the Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA), the deputy commissioner of Longleng, has advised the citizens of the district to follow certain precautionary measures.
“It has come to our attention that the onset of monsoon has brought forth a significant shift in weather patterns, necessitating a heightened state of preparedness among our community members,” the DC stated.

The notification also urged each citizen of Longleng district to embrace a “collective responsibility in safeguarding ourselves, our families, and our community during this period of heightened weather activity. By adhering to the aforementioned precautionary measures and maintaining a sense of alertness, we can minimise potential hazards and contribute to the preservation of life and property.”
It further assured that the district administration is in constant coordination with NSDMA, actively monitoring the situation, and prepared to render necessary assistance in case of any eventuality.
