DC Kohima notifies 2-laning affected beneficiaries

Dimapur, June 2 (EMN): Deputy Commissioner (DC), Kohima has notified all beneficiaries affected by the widening of NH-61 (2) for two laning from KM 40.00 to KM 72.400 under the sub-division of Additional Deputy Commissioner, Tseminyu that compensation for the structures/buildings shall be paid in the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kohima on June 6 at 10 a.m. Chairman/ex-chairman/head GB/member of the concerned village councils have been informed to be present physically for identification of the landowners and beneficiaries during the disbursal of cheques, failing which payment shall be withheld.DC also informed that the first phase shall cover only those beneficiaries whose names in the beneficiary list are the same with the names mentioned in their passbooks/bank accounts. Beneficiaries were also asked to submit 2 passport sized photos, copy of bank passbook and to come in person. Payment to any other representative other than the concerned person shall not be entertained.
