Dimapur, Jan. 19 (EMN): In connection with the ensuing 13th Nagaland legislative assembly election, Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Kohima, Rajesh Soundararajan, has constituted a District Level Standing Committee (DLSC).
The committee would be headed by the DC and DEO Kohima as chairman, along with senior superintendent of police, Kohima; all ROs/AROs Kohima district; administrator KMC; EEM nodal officer; MCC modal officer; president and seneral secretary of recognised political parties under Kohima district; president and two representatives of Angami Miapfu Mechu Krotho (AMK); president and two representatives Angami Public Organisation (APO); president and two representatives of Angami youth Organization (AYO) and assistant election officer as members
The DC further informed that the committee would be meeting from time to time as and when required to discuss issues relating to ensure free, fair and peaceful conduct of the 13th NLA election.
The first meeting of the committee would be held on January 20 at 11 AM in the conference hall of Deputy Commissioner, Kohima. The Dc has requested all the concerned members to attend the meeting positively.
