Dimapur, April 19 (EMN): Don Bosco High School, Lakhuti village in Wokha district commenced its annual sports on Monday with Dr. Robin Goyal, deputy commandant of 40 Assam Rifles, Wokha as its chief guest.
Speaking at the inaugural function, Goyal laid emphasis on the importance of sports and education in one’s life. He encouraged the students to participate in sports and extracurricular activities to boost confidence.He further advised the students to stay away from drugs and alcohol.
Rev. Fr. Shaji Mathew, principal of the school delivered a short speech, while the headmistress Rev. Jessy Jose, proposed the vote of thanks.
It stated that around 340 students of the school participated in the event adhering all the Covid protocol.
