
DIMAPUR — Don Bosco College (DBC), Kohima, celebrated its 6th Graduation Day on Saturday at the premises of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Kohima, with Professor G.T. Thong, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Nagaland University, Kohima Campus, as the special invitee.
Speaking on the occasion, Thong stressed the importance of hard work in achieving goals and stated that chasing dreams is essential for success and that determination could propel one higher in life. He also urged the graduates to care for nature, thereby nurturing Mother Earth.
[bsa_pro_ad_space id=1]Kezienuo, Controller of Examination, presenting the graduation report on the occasion, revealed that all 171 students (2021 batch) who sat for the examination conducted by Nagaland University were successful. This is the first batch from the college to achieve a 100% pass percentage.
Delivering the valedictory speech, Sobin Karki, the college topper, expressed gratitude to God for his success and spoke about the importance of persistence, hard work, and the need to choose the right path for success.
The programme was compered by Akhriebu Zumu and Lemrila. Rev. Fr. T.P. James delivered the invocation, and Rev. Fr. Christudoss gave the welcome address.
Dr. Toshimenla concluded the programme by expressing gratitude to the staff, students, and colleagues, and wishing success for the graduates.
During the event, a special presentation was delivered by Hopong, and the event concluded with the singing of the college anthem by the DBCK Choir.
