Dimapur, March 3
Thousands of people gathered at Kohima Local ground to attend the ongoing crusade with Rev. Neivotso Neikha, Mission Director of Northeast India CRC as the speaker. The organizer sissued a press release on Thursdya offering updates about the program.
In his sermon Rev. Neivotso said that everyone needs a transformation today and that we must not look to the idols of the world but to Jesus Christ. Citing from James 4:4 that friendship with the world makes one the enemy of God and that because of sin we become the enemy of God, he called upon the congregation that whoever is in friendship with the world needs deliverance and to resist the Devil who will flee.
Stressing on whatever we need will be met if we seek His kingdom and righteousness first and like a mother who will not offer food to her hungry child if the child’s hand is dirty, he called upon everyone to confess their sins and to make oneself clean to receive.
Quoting from Romans 12:21,’be not overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good’ he said that the evil came into existence because of Adam and Eve sin but where there is the Spirit of God there is freedom.
Further Rev. Neivotso said that the truth will be known and it will set us free, and reminded that the truth is the gospel and the gospel is Jesus who came and died for us and rose again. Citing from 1 john 2:15, love not the world, neither the things that are in the world, if any man love the world, the love of the father is not in him, he challenged the congregation that the future depend on their decision and that God has prepared a place for all who took the right decision.
Later hundreds responded to the altar call for salvation, deliverance from bondages and healing. A mass deliverance was done in the altar call where people numbering to more than hundreds were set free from various bondages.
Earlier, worship group Gloria Patri led the congregation into praise and worship. The team will also lead the praise and worship on 4th march 2016.
“It is to be mentioned that so far many people have been responding to the altar call to receive physical healing, exercising their faith to received healing without special prayer and 110 persons have been delivered from satanic worship. Numbering around 450 has been counselled so far by the counsellors,” the press release from the organizers said.
Earlier in the afternoon, Sungkum Jamir spoke on how to deal with alcoholics. Stressing on the understanding of the alcoholics, the rightful approach, with love and rendering help he added that, reviving their faith in prayer and meditation will improve the conscious contact with God for maintenance of the recovery.
