Expresses ‘continued’ confidence in the leadership of T R Zeliang as CM and Shurhozelie as DAN Chairman

The Legislature Parties and Independents constituting the Democratic Alliance of Nagaland (DAN) at their meeting held on May 11, 2015 at the State Banquet Hall, have unanimously resolved that a ‘Joint Legislators Forum on Naga Political Issue’ be formed comprising all members of the Twelfth Nagaland Legislative Assembly, on the Naga political issue, and work as a facilitator and press for early settlement of the Naga political issue.
The meeting also resolved to request the Speaker of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly to convene a meeting of all legislators of the 12th Nagaland Legislative Assembly for the purpose of forming the Joint Legislature Forum on the Naga political issue, and if necessary, to form a Sub-Committee of the JLF that will represent the collective will and voice of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly to pursue for early solution to the Naga political issue.The members present then expressed their continued confidence in the leadership of T.R. Zeliang, the Chief Minister of Nagaland, the Leader of the DAN Legislature Party and that of Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu, the Chairman of DAN Coordination Committee.
