DIMAPUR — A circle-level ‘Dak Adalat’ will be held at the Office of the Chief Postmaster General, North East Circle, Shillong, on August 29 at 11:30 am. The Dak Adalat will address grievances related to postal services for redressal.
According to an update from the Director of Postal Services, Nagaland, written complaints may be sent via ordinary post or speed post with ‘Dak Adalat’ superscribed on the cover, addressed to the Chief Postmaster General, North East Circle, Shillong 793001.
The complaints should include full details, such as the complete address and registration receipt number. For complaints regarding savings schemes and postal life insurance, the account number, policy number, and full address of the depositor or insurer should be provided.
Written complaints should be sent to the office on or before August 29. Complaints received after this date will be addressed through the usual channels. Complaints can also be sent to the email address pg.ne@indiapost.gov.in.
