Dimapur, Feb. 13 (EMN): Dimapur Ao Baptist Pastor’s Fellowship (DAABPF), in its meeting at DABA on February 12, has appreciated the bold steps taken by Rev. Dr. Zelhou Keyho, NBCC general secretary NBCC; Rev. Dr. Mar Atsongchanger, ABAM executive secretary; and N Lipok Jamir, president ABPF, in their appeal to all political parties not to surrender the Christian principles and faith that enabled the Nagas to make known in the global community.
DAABPF appealed to the believers to play active role in clean election campaign called by NBCC and ABAM. The DAABPF strongly resolved to endorse their calls and assured its support to the campaign.
DAABPF also called upon all believers to exercise their fundamental rights with fear of God, love for their land and people by abstaining from in all types of corruptions.
Stating that India has experienced the highest persecution in recent years, it called upon believers to denounce these activities and avoid cooperating with them in any way.
DAABPF further resolved to organise mass prayer in every worship in all the local churches for election, to sincerely participate in prayer when church bell ring at 6 a.m., and to organise a prayer and fasting programme.
