Imphal, May 30 (EMN): Along with rest of North eastern state Manipur also witnessed of cyclone Mora which hit the Bangladesh on Tuesday.
Acoording to report the valley areas received continuous rainfall since morning and most of the surrounding hill districts including Chandel, Senapati, Ukhrul, and Tamenglong have witnessed strong wind. According to directorate of environment the state received rainfall measuring 98 mm (0-12noon) on Tuesday. However there is no report of any untoward incidents so far, according to state disaster management force.
The state relief and disaster management department has issued a warning for heavy rainfall over the next two days in isolated places in the region like landslide in the hill areas and flash flood in the valley.
