DIMAPUR — Chümoukedima Village Youth Organisation (CVYO) has reiterated its standing resolutions and urged the public for strict compliance within its jurisdiction.
CVYO has impose blanket ban on hunting, fishing, collecting of fodder, firewood and any other activities that endangers or deplete the flora and fauna. It cautioned that defaulter would be sternly dealt with and also be penalised with a sum of INR 1 lakh or more depending on the severity of the act.
[bsa_pro_ad_space id=1]It added that all equipment/ weapons caught from the defaulters would be destroyed for which CVYO would not be liable for the loss, informed CVYO president, Kedovikho Visezo, and the general secretary, Rokovikho Thepa.
As Chümoukedima village has been declared ‘Drugs-free zone,’ it stated that CVYO would initiate stern and harsh action against all anti-socials involved in banned narcotics and be persecuted as per the customary law of the village.

Meanwhile, CVYO appealed to all the denizens to respect and follow the laid norms and regulations within its jurisdiction for the convenience and safety of all including maintaining the speed limits, prohibition of underage motor vehicle driving inside the village jurisdiction. It further cautioned against loitering inside the village jurisdiction without genuine reason after 8 pm.
