Dimapur, Jan. 17: Around 500 ‘concerned leaders and youths’ assembled outside the Chakroma Public Organisation hall at Chumoukedima on Tuesday “to implement their resolution taken earlier, in case any intending candidates violates it”.
A press release from the Chumoukedima village council (CVC) has thanked all the tribe leaders, ward leaders, youth leaders, student leaders, GBs, intending candidates, APO, AYO, CPO, CYO,CGBA, and all neighbouring villages who had extended their support “spiritually, physically, and materially” from the beginning till the end.
It has also asked the state government to consider the demand of the public.
