Dimapur, March 21 (EMN): Chuchuyimlang Village Council (CVC) has strongly condemned the assault on a prominent citizen of Dimapur, Dr. Aotoshi, in an incident of road rage at Purana Bazaar, Dimapur on Saturday. The CVC stated that the brutal assault by Vinoka Khetoshe Awomi was very much unbecoming of a theologian that his adverse action has tarnish the revered image of the whole Church leaders and the institute he underwent pastoral training.
CVC also stated that Dr. Aotoshi who was profusely bleeding and refusing to let the victim go for medical treatment as pleaded by his wife but rather hurling abusive language and threatening him was not only an act of a criminal but also the act of a mentally challenged person.
The council requested the law enforcing agencies to award befitting punishment to the assailant to discourage such cold-blooded actions by rogues in future.
“Dr. Aotoshi who is the CEO of Windows Media and Pro-Vice Chairman of Delhi Public School, Dimapur is also a respected leader under Mokokchung Langpangkong range who has immensely contributed for the socio-economic and educational development of various societies” CVC added.
