Aolijen, April 17
A total 61 students of Clark Theological College (CTC), Aolijen, including fifty Bachelor of Divinity (B.Div) and eleven Master of Theology (M.Th), were commissioned at the 41st Graduation Ceremony held at Multi-court, CTC, Aolijen, on April 17.
Rev. Dr. Marnungsang, Dean of Post Graduates Studies, and Rev. Dr. A Temjen Jamir, Academic Dean, presented degrees to the students and conferred by Rowainla, Chairperson of CTC Board of Governors, in the presence of parents and CTC faculty.
Rev. Dr. David A Baer, President of the overseas Council International, USA, and speaker of the programme, commissioning the graduating students said, “The hard truth is I don’t know your future, I can only imagine and perhaps to be perfectly honest, I can only speculate. However, there are two things about you that I know, you will face hardship and you will be resilience.”
He also advised the outgoing students to be aware of anxiety, which could extirpate their sustenance and everything they believe. In this connection, he counseled the fresh graduates to understand anxiety and resilience as they embarked on their journey.
“The higher good power will come to you when you have suffered your own anxiety and in them found resilience to strengthen the living God,” Rev. Dr. Baer asserted.
The welcome speech was delivered by Rev. Dr. Tekatemjen, Principal of CTC. Takuyaba Longkumer was conferred with Lifetime Achievement award. Other awards for excellence in various disciples were also conferred on the event.
