Dimapur, Aug. 26 (EMN): Responding to advertisement issued by the department of Electrical Inspectorate for one LDA-cum-computer assistant (directorate) and two LDA-cum-computer assistant (district) on August 21, the Combined Technical Association of Nagaland (CTAN) warned against conducting any departmental exams for posts with grade pay 2800 and above.

CTAN demanded that all posts lying vacant or likely to be vacated in the next 12 months with grade pay 2800 and above should be sent to NPSC until the Nagaland State Selection Board is made functional. CTAN mentioned that it would continue to boycott and revolt against any such departmental exams not complying with demands made earlier in sending those mentioned posts to NPSC for open competition.

CTAN further sought clarification from the PIO department of Power as to why the RTI filled by Graduate Electrical Engineers’ Association of Nagaland (GEEAN) dated November 9, 2020, had not been replied till date.
