  • DIMAPUR — The Combined Technical Association of Nagaland (CTAN) and the Nagaland NET Qualified Forum (NNQF) have issued an ultimatum to the state government, demanding immediate action on the pending requisition process for higher education posts by July 12.

  • In a letter addressed to the chief secretary, CTAN and NNQF expressed disappointment over the lack of progress following the government’s revocation of an earlier notification dated December 17, 2024. The revocation order, issued on April 30, 2025, had raised hopes among aspirants that the requisition process would be initiated promptly.

  • “Yet to our disappointment, no response has been received from the High Powered Committee (HPC) or the government since,” it said.

  • The organisations warned that failure to act by the specified date would compel them to initiate democratic forms of protest and that they will not be held responsible for any such actions taken thereafter.
