DIMAPUR — The Combined Technical Association of Nagaland (CTAN) has appealed to the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) and Head of Forest Force, Nagaland, to requisition vacant posts in the Forest Department to the Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) and Nagaland Staff Selection Board (NSSB).
According to CTAN, information obtained through RTI and the annual administrative report 2024–2025 revealed that several posts remain vacant in the department. These include one Library Assistant, one Assistant Librarian, one Assistant Conservator of Forests (ACF), 18 LDA-cum-Computer Assistants, two Stenographers, and four Drivers.
In its appeal, received here on Tuesday, CTAN urged the authority to forward these vacancies to NPSC and NSSB within the next 30 days. The association further requested that the requisition include posts currently filled on an ad-hoc or contract basis, newly created posts, and vacancies expected to arise within the next 12 months, up to August 2026.
CTAN stated it would continue to follow up on the matter during this period and expressed hope that the authority would act in the interest of aspirants in Nagaland.
