EMN Dimapur, February 23 Keeping the welfare of the students in mind, Chumukedima Students’ Union (CSU) has informed all the schools and teachers within its jurisdiction to strictly adhere by the guidelines. CSU has directed to provide safe drinking water for all the students in the school. It also informed that coaching by individual teachers in the school after school hours would be strictly checked. In case of coaching for any subject where the number of students exceeded more than 7, CSU said the fee charged should be less than tuition amount. It also said that the number of students in private tuition should not exceed 7 in one batch. It has also directed teachers not to supervise 2-3 batch of students in different rooms in the same hour. It said tuition should be 5 days a week of one hour duration @ of Rs 300 per students. Further, it said there should be no home tuition from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. This is to allow more students to get guidance from the teacher instead of limiting it to 1 or 2 students.
