Dimapur, Sep. 8 (EMN): Chakhesang Students’ Union (CSU), in association with National Health Mission (NHM) under the Directorate Health and Family Welfare, organised a free medical camp on September 6 at Sekruzu Sub-Health Centre in Phek district.
According to CSU president Lavoto Chizo the objective of organising the medical camp was to meet the necessities of medical needs of the area, a CSU press release stated.
Dr. Rokovinuo Rachel, Dr. Khotso Karo and Dr. Kevi Sekhose along with Dr. Imchatoshi, SMO from CHC Chozuba, nurses and staff treated a total of 127 patients during the camp.
It added that leaders of Sekruzu area have lauded the initiative of the CSU.
Meanwhile, CSU has thanked Dr. Kevichusa Medikhru, NHM Mission Director, for according space to the union to conduct the camp for the benefit of the public.
