Dimapur, June 18 (EMN): The Sub-committee of Family Counselling Centre (FCC) of Care and Support Society (C&SS) held its first quarterly meeting for the year 2019-20 in its office on June 18.
The meeting was attended by SDPO, Mokokchung, OC of women police station, Mokokchung, Watsu representative, FCC counsellor, and C&SS managing director.
During the meeting, the members discussed on issues pertaining to non accessibility of shelter home for HIV positive children in the State run by the government, need for healthy family environment in the district with regards to saving habits, health and broken family.
After thorough discussion, the members decided to conduct sensitisation programme on those issues through seminars, penal talk, radio talk etc. The members further felt that churches could play vita role on those issues.
