DIMAPUR — Civil society organisations (CSOs) in Dimapur have resolved to strengthen cooperation and coordination while reaffirming respect for established authorities and mandated jurisdictions following a joint meeting convened by the Naga Council Dimapur (NCD) and the Naga Women Hoho Dimapur (NWHD).
According to a press release, the participating organisations acknowledged that past misunderstandings had affected coordination among CSOs.
After a series of deliberations, the leaders resolved to work together more closely on matters of common importance and to ensure that no organisation would encroach upon the authority or jurisdiction of another.
The meeting also resolved that any issues, disputes or grievances arising among constituent organisations, tribal apex bodies and other CSOs under Dimapur district would henceforth be addressed through an appropriate mechanism of collective consultation, dialogue and resolution under the purview of the Naga Council Dimapur.

The resolution was adopted with the objective of promoting collective responsibility, mutual respect, harmony and unity among the constituent organisations.
The resolution was endorsed by NCD president GK Rengma, GB Union Dimapur Sadar GBUDS president Kholie Kapfo, NWHD president Y Imlinungla, Dimapur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) president Akashe Zhimomi, Dimapur Urban Council Chairmen Federation (DUCCF) president Zasivikho Zakiesato, and Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU) president Hinoto P Aomi.
