IMPHAL — The Dimapur Road Athletic Organisation (DMRAO) and Toubul Youth Development Association (TYDA) emerged victorious over their respective football rivals on the second day of the 14th Shaheed Manoranjan Singh Memorial CRPF Football Tournament at the Sports Authority of India (SAI) Sports Complex in Takyelpat, Imphal, on Tuesday.
In today's first match, DMRAO defeated Young Physique's Union (YPHU) 3-1. Y Sonam and O Rohit scored for DMRAO, while Wunganing netted the solitary goal for YPHU in the 70th minute of the match.
In the day's second match, TYDA defeated Regular Football Coaching Centre (RFCC) FC with a score of 3-0. Josh Khumanthem, Konsam Rohit, and Panmei Poujianlung were the goal scorers for TYDA.
On the third day of the tournament tomorrow, February 7, NFA Porompat will compete against Polloi Football Club Chingarel in the first match, while Anouba Imagi Mangal (AIM) will confront Sports Authority of India Takyel in the second match.
A total of 24 top teams from Manipur are participating in the ongoing tournament.
