Cricket: Nagaland register 6-wicket win over Sikkim

Dimapur, Nov. 10 (EMN): Nagaland defeated Sikkim by six wickets at the ongoing Men’s under-23 One Day Trophy, organised by the BCCI, on Sunday in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. According to an update from the Nagaland Cricket Association, Sikkim elected to bat after winning the toss and set a target of 205 runs for Nagaland. Despite Md Shahbaz’s century (111), Sikkim could put only 204 runs on the board for the loss of eight wickets. The next highest score was 28 by Parth.  Joshua, Akav, and Vaibhav scalped two wickets apiece for Nagaland. The chase lasted 48.3 overs as Nagaland achieved the target for the loss of four wickets. Vivek was the top-scorer with 74 runs, followed by Joshua with 62. For Sikkim, Harit took three wickets out of the four they managed to bag.
