Crescent International Hotel inaugurated in Kohima

Kohima, April 23 (EMN): NPF member of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly, Khriehu Liezietsu inaugurated the 'Crescent International Hotel and Restaurant' on Friday at Old NST, Kohima main town.

Speaking at the grand opening ceremony, Liezietsu congratulated the proprietors of the hotel stating that it is a noble venture and wished them good wealth. Stating that the state capital Kohima has shortage of quality hotel, he exuded confidence that with the opening of a new hotel would help meet the much needed hospitality sector in Kohima.

The new hotel in Kohima is a joint venture of Keneikhrielie Mephfü-o as CEO, Keluongutuo Solo as chairman.

While speaking at the event, the CEO Mephfü-o stated that 'Crescent International Kohima' would be a multi cuisine food and lodging hotel that would cater to the needs of wide range of guests. He added that Crescent aims at providing personalised service, memorable hospitality and with cost effective services. Informing that Crescent believes in service to the community, he stated that the establishment aims to employ 90% of the staff from the local youth. Also observing that the taste of food has changed over the years, he stated that Crescent would provide wide range of food at reasonable price with high standard of hygiene and hospitality.

The dedicatory prayer was offered by the assistant pastor of Koinonia Baptist Church, Rokopra Mekro, while the MLA cut the ribbon as an act of inauguration.

The opening ceremony was attended by advisor of Urban Development and Municipal Affairs, Dr. Neikiesalie Nicky Kire, MLA Keneizhakho Nakhro, officials of Kohima Chambers of Industries and Commerce led by Medozhatuo Rutsa, well-wishers and family members. The restaurant would be opened for business from Saturday onwards and function from 9 am till 10 pm, while the hotel (Lodging) would be made functional from Monday onwards and be made available for 24x7.
