Dimapur, Dec. 9 (EMN): A three-day Northern Angami Christian Revival Churches Thenuko Krotho’s silver jubilee celebration has commenced on Friday at Meriema village. The event is being hosted by the Christian Revival Church, Meriema village
The monolith in commemoration of the jubilee was inaugurated by Rev. Dr. Luozilie Sanchu.
The speaker of the inaugural session, Rev. Levi Rio spoke on theme “Remember the former things of old (Isaiah 46:9).” In his message, the Rev. called upon the congregation to acknowledge the love of God. He also urged them to repent and receive the fruit of Holy Spirit.
Around 800 delegates from 30 affiliated churches is said to have attended the inaugural session.
The jubilee souvenir was released by Zekuovonuo Mhasi.
Highlights of the programme included choreography by Sunday school CRC Meriema, special songs by Jr. Ce CRC High School Area, Chede Model Thenuko Krotho, and Dihoma Thenuko Krotho. Choir for the session were Rüsoma CRC Thenuko Krotho and CRC Chede Bawe Thenuko Krotho
The session was led by Zekuovonuo Mhasi while welcome note was delivered by Neilakuolie Huozha, pastor CRC Meriema. Praise and worship was led by Kekhriesetuo Keditsu and team of CRC Meriema.
