Friday.
- IMPHAL — A
delegation from the Communist Party of India (Manipur State), led by Dr. M Nara
Singh, called on Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla at Raj Bhavan in Imphal on
Friday.
- The delegation submitted a memorandum highlighting the
pressing challenges faced by the people of the state.
- Members of the United Meitei-Pangal Committee, led by its
general secretary MD Raees Ahamed Tampak, also called on the governor and
submitted a memorandum highlighting various grievances and requested the
governor’s support in resolving them.
- Further, members of Manipur Gorkha Welfare Union, led by its
president Hari Prasad Nepal, called on the governor and submitted a memorandum
highlighting the grievances faced by the community in the state and sought the
governor’s support in addressing those issues.
