Covid-19: Medziphema town sanitised with disinfectants

Medziphema town being sanitised by spraying disinfectants.

Dimapur, May 12 (EMN): In the wake of Covid-19 pandemic, the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) Mithun Jarnapani in collaboration with Medziphema administration launched a sanitisation drive at Medziphema on Tuesday, May 12.

This was informed by the department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) in an update on Tuesday.

The sanitisation drive was initiated by Dr. Kobu Khati, ICAR Mithun, who personally monitored the programme and provided disinfectants.

ADC Medziphema and ICAR Mithun Jarnapani made significant efforts by sanitising the subdivision, especially areas including Community Health Centre, MTC, ICAR Mithun Jarnapani and areas which are risk prone for local spread of the novel coronavirus, the press release informed.

ICAR collaborated with Nagaland Fire and Emergency Service Chümoukedima, which used water wash pumps, to sanitise all the areas in Medziphema town by spraying disinfectants, added the update.
