DIMAPUR — Preparatory coordination meetings for Independence Day celebrations were held at district headquarters and subdivisions on Tuesday, according to a DIPR report.
Longleng: A coordination meeting in preparation for the upcoming Independence Day celebration at Longleng district headquarters was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Longleng, W Manpai Phom, at DPDB hall.
In the meeting SDO (C) Longleng, Meyazungba Jamir, highlighted the work distribution and assignment of duties to different departments. The SDO also informed the house that the mass cleanliness drive will be held on August 9. All the heads of departments attended the coordination meeting.
Chiephobozou: The monthly coordination meeting of heads of departments under Chiephobozou sub-division, Kohima district, was held at DB's court, ADC office, Chiephobozou.
EAC Chiephobozou, Moasunep Jingru, chaired the meeting where heads of departments discussed Independence Day celebrations, task allocations, and logistical arrangements.

Longleng DPDB to award deserving officers, staff
The EAC requested all department officials to coordinate and execute their respective duties effectively for the successful conduct of Independence Day. Jingru also requested all the department officials to attend the function positively. The departmental activities were highlighted by Visasielie Suhu, SDEO Chiephobozou.
Tizit: In view of the forthcoming Independence Day celebration, a coordination meeting was convened by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Tizit, Mon district, Relise Sangtam, at ADC’s conference hall, Tizit.
The ADC welcomed the gathering and outlined the meeting's purpose. Departmental assignments for a successful Independence Day celebration were discussed and allocated, with SDC (C), Tizit, overseeing the event. The meeting also decided to organise a mass social work event on August 9.
Heads of offices, uniform personnel, educational institutions, NGOs, gaon buras, and ward chairmen attended the meeting.
