Dimapur, June 29 (EMN): Contractors and suppliers are convinced that Chief Minister Dr. Shurhozelie Liezietsu has ‘performed’ well as the chief administrator of Nagaland “within a short period.”
The Nagaland Contractors’ & Suppliers’ Union (NCSU) issued a press release on Thursday informing about a delegation from the union meeting the chief minister.
‘A 27 member officials of the NCSU called on the chief minister of Nagaland Dr. Shurhozelie Liezietsu on 29th June 2017 morning in his office chamber and acknowledged his good performance as the chief minister of State even within a short period,’ the union’s note stated.
“The NCSU expressed its full confidence that under his leadership better cohesion and understanding would be ensured in the larger interest of the people of Nagaland to work in our state.”
The union asserted that the chief minister ‘in his response to the NCSU about the hardships being faced by the local contractors,’ challenged Naga contractors to be “capable of competing with other contractors / company in the rest of the country,” the note added.
