Dimapur, March 31 (EMN): Home department has informed that a consultative meeting on Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act, 1958 (AFSPA) has been convened on April 4 at 10 am at Rhododendron Hall, Officers' Mess, Chumoukedima.
Chief Minister of Nagaland, deputy chief minister, ministers, advisors, along with chief secretary, DGP, and other senior officials will be present in the meeting, the department stated in a notification on Thursday.
Presidents of Central Nagaland Tribes Council, Eastern Nagaland Peoples' Organisation, Tenyimi Peoples' Organization, Angami Public Organisation, Kohima; Ao Senden, Mokokchung; Chakhesang Public Organization, Phek; Chang Khulei Setsang, Tuensang; Konyak Union, Mon; Khiamniungan Tribal Council, Noklak, Lotha Hoho, Wokha; Phom People Council, Longleng; Pochury Hoho, Meluri; Rengma Hoho, Tseminyu; Sumi Hoho, Zunheboto; Tikhir Tribal Council, Kuisam; United Sangtam Likhum Pumji, Kiphire; Yimkhiung Tribal Council, Shamator and Nagaland Zeliang People Organisation, Peren have been requested to attend the meeting, along with two representatives each.
