Congress observers complete four-day tour of Zunheboto district under Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan to strengthen party organisation.

DIMAPUR — As part of the ongoing Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan to strengthen the party organisation, particularly at the district and grassroots level, All India Congress Committee (AICC) observer for Zunheboto district Dr. Biswaranjan Mohanty, accompanied by Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) observer Toshipokba Lkr, former MLA, undertook a four-day tour of Zunheboto district.
According to an update, the first-day meeting was held with District Congress Committee (DCC) office bearers, heads of frontal organisations and executive committee members.
In Zunheboto, the AICC observer also met the Assembly Constituency Congress Committee (ACCC) officials of 13 Pughoboto and 35 Zunheboto.

Over the next three days, Dr. Mohanty also travelled to Satakha town and met office bearers of 36 Satakha ACCC; held a combined meeting of 31 Akuluto ACCC and 32 Atoizu ACCC at Akuluto town; and on the final day, travelled to Aghunato town via Suruhuto town and had a meeting with office bearers of 33 Suruhuto ACCC and 34 Aghunato ACCC.
The tour concluded at Aghunato town on February 20, and the AICC observer and team proceeded to Kohima.
Vikato Zhimomi, President of Zunheboto DCC, expressed his gratitude to Dr. Mohanty and Toshipokba for undertaking a thorough review of the party organisation and for the efforts in travelling across the entire district.
He stated they witnessed the weak state of infrastructure that portrays years of neglect and underdevelopment during the past 23 years of "non-Congress government" in Nagaland.
