I congratulate the effort of the present Govt. to protect the sovereign entity of the nation and of course the patriotic spirit of the soldiers in the battle field who risked their life for the safety of the country, I salute the with utmost respect, but while celebrating the success of the surgical attacked carried out by the Indian soldiers across the LoC. I would also like to draw the attention of the present Govt. towards the attack within the country, particularly the attack on the minorities. How can the present govt. be so blind of the attacks happening right in front of their nose? Will present govt. still deny that they are partly responsible of such violence? Will present Govt. still deny that they are endorsing such act of violence? If the present govt is not endorsing such act, why are the criminals still roaming freely after committing such act of terror? If the present Govt. think the attacks across the country are a thing of the past, I must tell them that the recent one happened to Gideons international stall on 24 September at Krishi Mela, Karnataka. The Gideons international stall which primarily sold Christian literature was vandalised and the volunteers were badly assaulted. Some of the leaders may say, they are not aware of the incident, I agree because even the voice of the media is often to silent to many such horrific incidents happened within the country. How long will this country remain silent towards such barbaric act?
I must say Congress as one of the main opposition party of the country is not doing enough either, to solve or to highlight the problem faced by minorities rather they are busy organising road show of Rahul Gandhi in Aligarh for the forth coming state election in UP. In such situation the question that confronts us is, are the political parties ever interested to safeguard the interest of people particularly the minorities? Or are they just interested in gaining/retaining the power? Are they not supposed to safeguard the rights of the people enshrined in the construction? Is India not a secular country, where people have the freedom worship or follow any religion? I think enough of commotion has been generated since this present government comes to power. We as a nation has experienced self appointed nationalist who not only try to decide the religion of the other but comes to control even the menu of the kitchen. This is not the India, the founders of this nation dreamt when they first laid the foundation.
We must stop this act of terror at all cost. For as much as the need to stop terror exporting from outside, the need to stop terror within is important. Until this is fixed I see no hope or progress in this country. As long as this country allows the forces extremism to exist, peace will be a distant dream. Until we recognise and respect the diversity of this country we will further divide among ourselves and the idea of a true Indian union will be a distant reality.
