Dimapur, Oct. 6 (EMN): The government of Nagaland in collaboration with department of administrative reforms and public grievances, government of India, will be organizing a regional conference on the theme “good governance initiatives” at Hotel Vivor, Kohima on Oct. 10 and 11. The inaugural programme will be addressed by the Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio and Secretary, DARPG, GoI, KV Eapen, IAS.
Senior officers from the Government of India, north-eastern states and other states of the country will be attending the conference to learn and acquire the best practices of the states.
Chief executive officer, NITI Aayog, Amitabh Kant will address the Deputy Commissioners of Aspirational Districts and other participants through Video Conferencing. Besides, a host of imminent speakers from different fields will also speak during the conference.
All administrative heads of the department/heads of the department and deputy commissioners will be attending the conference which is being organized after a gap of 12 years, the DIPR updated.
