Concert in Mokokchung by Class of Music, in collaboration with Quantum Production and The Modern Box, raises INR 100,000 to support Mon landslide victims.
DIMAPUR — In a show of solidarity with the citizens of Mon district affected by the recent calamity, the Class of Music, in collaboration with Quantum Production and The Modern Box, and supported by the Task Force for Music and Arts (TaFMA) Mokokchung, organised a charity concert at the Imkongmeren Sports Complex on September 15.
According to an update, the main attraction of the night featured students from the Class of Music school alongside special appearances by Desvelado, Wapang and the Band, Empty Pockets, and the Gluttons.
Following the event, organisers presented the proceeds of the concert, amounting to INR 100,000, to Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung Ajit Kumar Verma, to be forwarded to the affected citizens in Mon.
The formal handover was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung Atsungba Walling and officials from the Konyak Union Mokokchung.
