- DIMAPUR — A one-day block-level community
mobilisation training for the school management committees (SMCs) and school
management and development committees (SMDCs) under the Elementary Block
Resource Centre (EBRC) Changtongya ‘B’ was conducted on March 25 at Town Hall,
Changtongya town, Mokokchung.
- According to a DIPR report, Assistant Director, Directorate
of School Education (DoSE), Imtisangla, delivered a presentation on the current
projects and activities undertaken by DoSE, Samagra Shiksha, and Nagaland
Education Mission – The Lighthouse (NECTAR).
- More than 130 participants attended the programme.
- Furthermore, a one-day block-level training and sensitisation
on community mobilisation for SMCs and SMDCs was organised by the EBRC
Ahthibung on March 25, at the Town Hall, Ahthibung.
- An update stated that 98 trainees from 36 schools in the
block attended the one-day training and sensitisation programme.
- On the occasion, the keynote address was delivered by T
Sulanthung, SDO(C) Ahthibung. The resource persons included Kelikha Kenye, Dy.
Mission Director, Samagra Shiksha, SMA, DoSE Kohima, and personnel from NECTAR,
including Neiketulie, Limathung, and Qheboka.
